Searching natural remedy on AMD (Age-related Macular Degenation

I was diagnosed suffering AMD (Age-related Macula Degenation) on early July, 2025. My left-eye has blurry vision on enter but no other symptoms found. I suspect being suffered on dry AMD because my left eye still able seeing straight lines.

I have been diagnosed suffering diabetes since 2006 but it is quite stable up to now. Also I have had blood and urea tests on early July but nothing abnormal found. My care doctor said my AMD is not caused by Diabetes in the eyes. I also have ultrasonic test on my neck but nothing abnormal found.

I have had the 1st injection of aflibercept (eylea) on July 25, 2025 but with no improvement. I'll have the second aflibercept injection on the coming August 20, 2025.

I'm now in anticipation to find natural remedy to AMD but nothing found on Internet searching.

Pls advise. Thanks in advance.

In reading some of these posts, some people use the word remedy, as in the post about Areds2 supplements. Are people really being cured using these supplements? I took PreserVision for years and I have a list of eye issues. Areds2 never cured anything. Maybe it slowed the digression down, put that is all. I had cataract surgery in one eye and I have had no improvement. I am resigned to the realization I am old and what I have is what will remain no matter what I do. Every time something new comes out we throw our money at it hoping for a miracle. We need to be realistic: the aging process is doing its worst and there is nothing we can do to reverse its affect.

I don’t think anyone claims that AREDS2 cures anything. The claim is that it “slows the progression” of AMD.

Frankly, I don’t think AREDS2 does anything at all. And, judging from the many comments in the thread about its side effects, may do more harm than good.

But that’s just my opinion.

In any event, there is no claim, at least from the companies that manufacture AREDS or from the medical community that it is a CURE.
