Hi @angiemama1,

In addition to the information that Justin provided, here's an article that has more details; Prinzmetal's angina is also known as variant angina or coronary vessel spasm/coronary artery vasospasm:

I was diagnosed with it about 10 years ago. I saw Dr Amir Lerman at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Absolutely wonderful and knows a lot about Prinzmetal. My case was severe and they put in a Spinal Cord Stimulator bc I couldn't have bypass. I realize the cost in traveling we had to refinance our home but it's so rare all you hear is WHATS THAT? The earlier you get to a Dr that knows about it the better. If you have a Facebook there is a Prinzmetal Support Group. Members from all over the world. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello, I was diagnosed with Prinzmetal in Jan 2018 and am now having symptoms from inflammation - sever rashes on hands and legs, blisters in top of mouth, exhaustion, moving pain in hip joint, ankle, knee and foot (all on the right side). Last year I had paralysis of right foot after having a tick bite with a bullseye on that same right foot. I went from being a competitive rower to not being able to walk my dog for more than 15 mins without severe pain. I am receiving PT, have seen a rheumatologist (he says no arthritis), and a neuropsychologists says I'm OK. My GP seems to have given up on me. My cardiologist prescribed Nitro for spasms. I have had many mild to moderate cardiac spasms in the last 6 months and one that took 2 doses of Nitro before subsiding. I'm not sure where to turn for help.

Yes, I have had all the tests. Fortunately there is no obstruction and my heart seems to be otherwise healthy. Thank you for your concern, and I wish you all the very best.
