Mayo Clinic Connect
I am 37 years old with high cholesterol and constant pressure in the center of my chest. My doctor and cardiologist are mystified. What should I do?
I’m tagging @capt209 @ed32 @beahind who’ve shared similar concerns on Connect and may have more insights for you. Here’s a discussion that you may wish to view, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/when-is-an-angiogram-called-for/ where you will meet @jchp @Sensation who also share their insights about chest pain.
@mlzeid, have you had any tests done to rule out cardiac issues?

Having an echo stress test Tues and will gt a holtor monitor Friday.
I wanted to follow up, and hope you are doing well? If you wish to and are able to give us an update, we would love to hear about your progress with the echo stress test, and holter monitor.
Still no answers. The echo was normal and I haven’t gotten the results of the holter yet. I still have the same symptoms. The doctor wants me to have a nuclear stress test so I guess I’ll follow up with that. Very discourages.
@mizeid Suggest you check the pain points of fibromyalgia. Area about half way between shoulder point and nipple, left and/or right. Sharp pain, often dX as cardiac or stress.
