Oral Retinoids
Hi Transplant Family!
After multiple squamous cell carcinoma skin cancer MOHS surgeries, my dermatologist is recommending that I start Oral retinoids.
Has anyone tried Oral retinoids to attempt to stop the growth of squamous skin cancer? Please share your experience.
As always, THANK YOU 😊

Does Niacinamide interfere with any of your transplant medications?
It is often the first course preventative.

1 ReactionHi @seniormed ☺️
Thanks so much for responding. Are you a transplant patient that takes nicotinamide (B3) supplement prevent skin cancers? Do you find it to be effective?
My dermatologist is recommending a different more potent supplement called oral retinoids.
I am also considering switching to Sirolimus instead of Tacrolimis.
I would love to hear if any transplant patients are having a good experience with either Nicotinamide or Oral Retinoids to discourage the growth of squamous cell.
Or if anyone switched to Sirolimus to prevent new skin cancer growth.
(There are no interactions listed with my current immune suppression meds and these supplement).
Many thanks!
