I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I have Bronchiestases, mild(?) COPD and possibly asthma. Last year or two I have felt numbness in my first two toes...not sure what it is connected to. My GP suggested I have a scan on my back in case it is a punched nerve I think...I haven't done anything yet.

Yes.
My specialist told me that this can be part of the pulmonary thrombosis condition but offered no solution. I am not on any medication because of side effects. I have found warmth helps, so wear appropriate clothing such as wool, day and night. Also, have just started oxygen which helps when short of breath and there has been a small improvement in legs.
Hope this helps somewhat.

@narelled23 Thank you for your reply. I’m new to this site, but really enjoy the questions, replies and compassionate people. My issue is more in the bottom of my whole feet and all toes and at times in my lower legs. I know it’s a likely symptom of COPD. I have mild to moderate COPD and also multiple nodes, unfortunately an 8mm and a 10mm on my diaphragm that’s too dangerous to biopsy. I had C scans and just started PET scans. But keeping a positive attitude. Thanks again. Arthur

@lizaussie Dear Liz, I appreciate you sharing with me. I have a good pulmonologist, and know numb feet, toes, lower legs etc can be symptoms of COPD, but wanted to reach out and see if anyone had what I’m experiencing. I have mild/moderate emphysema, severe bronchitis, and lung nodules. I am not on oxygen and can exercise, and play pickle ball so I am blessed and grateful for that. I take Spiriva and have Albuterol as a rescue inhaler, but am fortunate to not have had an exasperation yet. I’m new to this site and think it’s great. Thanks again for replying so quickly and I hope your situation improves and you’re feeling well. I will definitely take your suggestions. My nephew just moved back to the states after 5 years in Australia. I’m thinking that’s where you live. All the best, Arthur

I have severe Copd and noticed one foot always felt cold and numb. My doctor did a PAD test and everything was good. I’ve also have yearly ultrasound scan on all my arteries and nothing shows up. With that said, I looked for other solutions. I started using a cream with magnesium chloride in it on my feet and ankles at bedtime. I was amazed at how the cold feeling went away. Another big benefit is that I sleep much better and longer than before.

@stevelc Thanks for the feedback Steve. It’s a really odd feeling: it’s mostly numb feet , but numb and tight lower shin at times also. I guess it’s just all new to me (and confusing for sure). I will try your suggestion. I’m hoping you’re feeling well. All the best, Arthur

I too am experiencing numbness in my toes. What is the name of the cream you buy for your feet? Thank you.
