I have MAC and Bronchiectasis. Has anyone tried medical cannabis for either of these?

Can anybody give me the name of a strain of marajuana that can relieve/reduce the pain of Fibromyalgia? I've had it for 25+ years and since the opioid epidemic came down getting a new pain mgt doctor to write an Rx for NORCO is border line imposible even though it has pretty much allowed me to lead a decent life style. Ive gone through 3 doctors in about 4 or 5 years. Cannot get an "rx card" (out of state) so would need a kind I can obtain without one. Many thanks

Hi yes I am very interested in hearing about your journey Specifically what form of cannabis was most helpful. I smoked it for a long time but that is not such a good option for me now. I am experimenting with several things and could use some guidance.

I bought Delta-8 gummies ('just' legal everywhere) and take 1/2 one for aches from meds. It works quite well. Plus it's relaxing. I don't expect it will actually help the MAC or bronchiectasis though.

Last year I asked my pulmonologist if he would issue me a Michigan medical card. The practice is large and they hadn’t done it before so had to walk them through it. He said do not smoke or vape but try edibles. I have had bronchiectasis for 40 years, have had a lobectomy 38 years ago and like all of you do all the meds pro and reactive. I use Wana gummies at night when I get in a coughing spree as it helps me sleep. They are 20mg and I use 1/4 of one. I have tried more but don’t want to be high but want to relax my throat and not have the cough be as tough on my system which has already lead to esophagus issues. If you have any questions I am happy to answer them. It sure is a journey.
