Low energy
Diagnosed with MAC over 18 months ago and was put on the big 3. After 5 months I was taken off riamprin due to having adverse reaction to it. Continued on with 2 antibiotics only to be told I needed to add arikacye . Since being on arikayce I’m more breathless and have zero energy wanting to sleep all the time. I have no ambition to do anything and if I’m honest I’m pretty depressed even though I take a low dose of antidepressant. I have a very supportive husband who works long hours and then comes home and cooks dinner which makes me feel guilty and so the vicious cycle starts again. Anyone else feel like this?

Garden of Life Dr. Formulated once daily women’s - no refrigeration needed.
Good luck at appointments, Sue.
@irene5 Garden of life probiotics don't specify the strain name, so i don't use them any more. I prefer antibiotics with specific strain name and high CFU like 20 billion and above. Seed is one of them I used. Green package , glass container, 24 specific strain for heart health, woman health, digestive health and mental health.
I have heard that one is good. Garden of Life was recommended by my ID doctor. Irene
My dietitian also recommended Garden of Life. But I find other brands and replace it. I also use Cultrelle and Florastor. But if there is lactose intolerant please be careful. I feel I have heart burn with taking Florastor. I believe I have low grade lactose intolerance but I can drink yogurt.
It’s called seeds?
Seed ds01
I see a number of probiotic options under Garden of Life brand and they ALL list the strains.
@irenea8, it has to list the name plus a number , for example, lacxxxx Plantarum RSB11. Garden of life only give the name, not the number. That is what I mean. Hope this explains,
Helen
For energy level - if you put on a lot of weight, that will help with energy. Our body uses a lot of protein to fight bacteria, so we need to continue to gain weight, esp we are already under weight. For woman above 60, BMI over 24 is recommended. We are slender type, so this makes us prone to bacterial infection!
I find myself able to gain weight after removing outside food, wheat and flaxseed from my diet. They always contribute to extra stool for me! I also like fruits a lot right now perhaps the antibiotics consumed too much vitamins in my body!
