I had the same thing happen, and I wonder if they were really friends. I'm sorry about your vascular. dementia, i have it. There are things you can do to slow it down. I'm sorry to hear about your vascular.

It bothered me at first.
But the important thing is
That I wean off them slowly and stop completely. My life in the long run will be much better

@red79 I just saw my results on my patient portal saying I probably have this - Dr has yet to call - it’s been a week - very interested in how and what you are doing with this.

kinda the way it and life goes. Friends and co-workers have ALL dropped off. I think i have leprosy or something by the way they have reacted?!
I stopped trying to figure out the "why" of their drop-offs.
I look for any new 'friends"
I had a stroke 3 years ago and I have Thalamic Pain Syndrome.
I've had 2 off-label experimental brain surgeries to no avail.
Life goes on without me and is constantly looking over it's shoulder to see if i'll keep up.
I really think there's a special blessing in this - i'll tell ya when I figure it out or you tell me when you do. You're not alone. Let me know if you'd like to chat.

@melissa711 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Seeing results online on a portal if you don't have medical training can be daunting without someone to interpret the information for you. Waiting is also hard and anxiety provoking if you think portal results seem to point to something going on.

Have you had a chance to call in to your doctor's office to see if they might speak to you very soon about your results?

@lisalucier yes, they apologized for the notes being entered prior to the doctor calling. Evidently he is away. They did indicate further testing may be ordered and I should be hearing from them soon 🫣

@melissa711 - well, that is helpful to know the exact status of the doctor and that you will be hearing back soon.

How are you feeling during the wait?

@lisalucier I am not feeling well at all and the extra anxiety of having a non specific non conclusive result makes it that much worse. I do so appreciate your responses. 🤗
