Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I get them some too but I think it comes from me recently over dosing on valerian root for sleep!!! I have a tad bit of a high pitched ringing in my head too! Hopefully once I’m over it all this will all quit, fingers crossed!!!

I have them mostly when I'm stressed or very tired. My entire left side of my body is weaker than the other side. I've had brain MRI and every other kind of test known to man trying to figure out what is causing it. I turned down the EMG test because I was told it is very painful. I have lupus, and have all sorts of strange "feelings" in my body at times, so I figure it's just related to that. I'm 71, so I don't expect to be 100% healthy, but the internal tremors and weakness are very aggravating.

I did read that exercise can sometimes help, so I joined a gym and am going to try to just get into better physical shape and see if that helps.

Mine started after getting the covid jab. They told me its “long covid and me/cfs. They gave me amitriptyline for the pain and anxiousness that the vibrations cause. I have only been on it for a few days, i will update when I know more!! Stretching and Qigong helps quiet them as well. Beat wishes for some insight!

I have had now 7 EMG’s over 15 years and I would rate the very transient pain, (I’m talking seconds) as about a 1-2 on the pain scale. You may have four or five needle pricks that last just a few seconds and the rest of the test is relatively painless. If it makes you feel better to know for sure, I would not hesitate to get am EMG. I had a lot of pain in my life and I wouldn’t even count this as pain.

Be careful with both if those drugs. The newest guidelines for prescribing Valium and other drugs in this category is for short term use only, 2-4 weeks. I am in a group for benzodiazepine withdrawal support (that’s what Valium is)) and internal vibrations are a major symptom of both use and withdrawal. Many of us suffer terribly from them. Mine have now, after 9 months of hell, started to get better as I taper off that drug.?

Are you still having these "tremors?" I'm trying to get a cohort of patients who have had this develop to then connect with and compare notes. I'm a physician and have had issues with this.

I know this is a bit old, wondering if you were still around for these issues ? I think my symptoms are from the covid vaccine.

I suspect, we may actually be sensing a build up of a natural “internal energy” of some sort.

Try focusing on the area of vibrations from “the area between and slightly above your eyebrows” then mentally with “intent” move your buzzing energy elsewhere in your body.

You may find you can direct and drive the vibrations around the body from that focus area noted above.

If you can, you have to ask yourself what is it you are actually manipulating, or manifesting?

My neurologist diagnosed my internal tremors as essential tremors, a neurological motor disorder, as well as anxiety-depression. In the past 60 days, I have begun to benefit from Cymbalta and twice weekly PT.

On non-therapy days I aim for walking 1-2 miles/day on the gym treadmill, on a nearby nature trail (paved) using hiking poles for balance, or in my house. Exercise is medicine.

Yes. Do you have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome)? It can certainly occur with that. Did you have Covid? This may be a helpful article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10759066/
