Scheduled for "in body procedure": anybody know what that is?

Posted by charliepuma @charliepuma, Jan 14 7:30pm

I am going to be at the Mayo Clinic next week testing for a liver evaluation. The schedule has me coming back 2 weeks later for what it says in body procedure. Does anyone know what that is ?

@charliepuma welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Did you see this “in body procedure” on an itinerary for your visit to Mayo? If you have an itinerary for your visit, there should be contact info (name, email, ph # … ) to go to if you have questions or concerns. Do you have a local provider making a referral for you to Mayo? Perhaps he or she knows what this means.

I have had 2 transplants and all can guess is further bodily testing if required. Have you had any tests other than blood work so far?

@charliepuma, were you able to find out more information about your upcoming appointment and what it involves?

@charliepuma, I want you to know that I am thinking about you and hoping that everything is going smoothly for you.
I had my transplant at Mayo Rochester. Where are you?
