I'm in my 70's and experiencing brain fog for the last year
I have what I would describe as brain fog daily, low libido and trouble with memory. I've had full blood panel and everything is fine. I do take medication for low thyroid but that also tested fine. Could it be hormones? I am too old to use HRT now, according to the doctors I have seen. When I was a little younger, I did take that and felt so much better. Are there any supplements that would help?

I decided to get another opinion and although I haven't had blood testing for hormone levels done, I am now taking a low level of estrogen again. I will go back in 3 months to check in with doctor. I think my levels are very low at this age. Meaning what my body produces.

1 ReactionI had the same issues and even though my Vit b12 level was normal….. my neurologist at Mayo told me I needed to be at a higher level….. long story short…. Within 4 days of taking Vit B12 …. I remembered who and where I was and stopped needing to depend on my husband and daughter to remember things from 2 minutes before that I had asked….. such a simple thing to do and it would have made such a difference to know this sooner as I was so afraid I was getting dementia or Alzheimer’s!!
I pray this helps you as well. My memory isnt perfect but I now feel independent again!!
