Anyone's drug insurance pay for 7% saline for nebulizer treatments. I do treatments twice a day --$43/60 doses--
I have Cigna-- That is with Good Rx!!
Anyone able to provide imfo to help me with costs for 7% saline?

In NJ I just paid $38 for 60 vials of 7%. I have Medicare and Aetna supplemental. I can’t seem to get it cheaper even with GoodRx. Any advice? I keep looking on Amazon but no deals there.

Thank you for your question. It is an example of how we help one another- even unknowingly. I picked up the 7% Saline from my pharmacy yesterday at a cost of $52.99. Over a year’s time that is a difference of $120.
Next time I need a refill I will go through Good Rx. Does anyone else have any insights about lower cost for 7% Saline? TIA

I get mine from my pharmacy and it's a little under $9 for 60 vials. That's a months supply at 2x day

I found that using Medicare Part B (if you have it) You can get 7% Saline cheaper if --1. You have the main neb med paid for by Medicare B --"not" through Part D, Rx drug plan)-My main neb med is Albuterol which is pd for 100%, and the saline costs me $5.00/60 amps. I asked in this forum 2 weeks ago what other people do to get 7% saline cheaper, mine wasn't pd for and I had to pay $46.00/25 amps with Good Rx each month. I called MC and checked. I also changed my pharmacy to Walgreen fr Walmart who jwas not helping me but Walgreens knew the ins and outs of this situation. I am so grateful!!'lll
I hope Flo sees this!

@judyhodgern just for comparison where I am, can you tell me what descriptors you put into Good RX to describe the 7% saline? Thanks,

7% sodium chloride
If using good RX depending on which pharmacy pricing will be different I believe. My insurance pays a part so currently I pay $8.74 for 60 vials.
I asked my pharmacy what it would be without any insurance and it was like $32 but they said with good Rx is was around $10.
Did your Dr prescribe it? Or you can get on Amazon too I believe.
