Thank you for your question. It is an example of how we help one another- even unknowingly. I picked up the 7% Saline from my pharmacy yesterday at a cost of $52.99. Over a year’s time that is a difference of $120.
Next time I need a refill I will go through Good Rx. Does anyone else have any insights about lower cost for 7% Saline? TIA

1 ReactionSodium Chloride 7% vial twice a day, 120 days supply, I paid $10.00 at CVS Pharmacy, in AZ.
I do not know where you live, but Temple University Hospital Pharmacy (Philadelphia) mails me 60 ampules every month for $20. That might change with the tariffs, but I have been paying that for at least 4 years. They pick up the phone too if you call around 7:00 a.m.

3 ReactionsI have Cigna as well, they cover my 3% saline with a script from the Dr. It is fulfilled by their mail order division Express Scripts. So far my Dr wants me to stay on the 3% but it seems likely Cigna would also cover the 7% but might require the Dr to prescribe both the saline and the compressor.

2 ReactionsI am with Kaiser Northern California and I get 90 days, 180 4ml vials, for $20, mail order. For those with Kaiser, your copay is lower if you order by mail, versus pick up in pharmacy.

1 ReactionI would call and ask your insurance if the 90 supply is better. For my Bevespi inhaler, when I only got one, I had to pay a co-pay (even with 2 insurances) and when I got the 90 day supply, I ended up with no co pay! Go figure! Maybe if pulm dr will write for 90 days it would be better? Just a suggestion.
