You mentioned that u see a pain doctor. Is your pain severe enough to cause high BP readings?

2 ReactionsI don't think so as I've had the pain for quite some time
A PCP should be able to set you up with a 24 hour monitor which isn't cheap and may or may not be covered by insurance. Mine are at no cost to me as part of my research involvement. The worst part is that after a time the cuff causes a lot of itching.
Are you looking at how much salt and fat in your diet? Just a thought. Walking if weather is good outside or go to a store that is a good size to walk in might help. Please find something or ask your doctor . They have some good thoughts.

1 ReactionMaybe that's normal for your family. I wonder if it could be correlated with some kind of genetic trace.
@envy52 Your blood pressure is quite high according to all measures - you have what is known as Stage 2 Hypertension. It looks like in your case, a healthy diet, lifestyle and exercise are not enough. There is no shame in taking medication to help after you have done all you can.
Hypertension is serious, and can cause progressive damage over time, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure and other diseases. There are typically no symptoms until - BOOM - one day you have a heart attack or stroke.
Here is the latest chart from Mayo Clinic:

May I ask why you do not want to take medication?

The reason I don’t want to take Medication because it becomes a habit And I don’t like Taking any type of medication. But I tried everything for my Blood Pressure and nothing is working 😩 I guess I have to contact my doctor to see what they can do for me. I Appreciate You Responding Back To Me I really thought I was doing something wrong 😑

@envy52
Have any family members been successful at lowering their BP with medication? Would be interesting if the same meds worked for everyone.
@envy52 Sometimes we must resort to medication. Better done before damage happens!
