How to reduce my blood pressure from 160/82?

Good Morning! I am a 52 yr old Woman I weight 160 pounds and my Height is 5’9 and I work out Four days a week and I eat very healthy. But My Blood Pressure seems to be very high it sometimes Be 178/126 I really don’t know what else to do. And I don’t want To take any Medication. My Entire family suffers from high blood Pressure. What should I do? Any advice will help 🙂

@envy52 Your blood pressure is quite high according to all measures - you have what is known as Stage 2 Hypertension. It looks like in your case, a healthy diet, lifestyle and exercise are not enough. There is no shame in taking medication to help after you have done all you can.

Hypertension is serious, and can cause progressive damage over time, increasing your risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure and other diseases. There are typically no symptoms until - BOOM - one day you have a heart attack or stroke.

May I ask why you do not want to take medication?
