@buckeyegurl, Rachel, I want to invite you to take a look at this Heart Transplant discussion. It has been quiet for for a while – however, thw information that has been shared is timeless.
Let me know if you find some helpful information. What questions would you like to ask?

@glinda, I want to welcome you to this discussion about heart transplantation. I see that you have recently joined Mayo Clinic Connect, and I, as well as the rest of our members, are happy to have you join us. I have a liver/kidney transplant, so I know the waiting and rollercoaster journey, but I do not know the heart related information that only you and other heart transplant patients and caregivers can provide.
I look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Feel free to read and join into any of the discussion threads that look interesting to you.

@glinda Glinda, According to my math, you will be celebrating your 6th Transplant Anniversary in January. Do you have any plans to do any kind of celebration?
@glinda, Thank you, I will be sure to ask away! I do need to warn you that my sons called me the “Interrogator”! They claim that when they brought friends to the house that I asked too many questions.
Glinda, How old were your sons when you transplanted? How did they handle Mom being so sick?
