H-Pylori

Hi everyone! I just got my results back and tested positive for H. pylori. I’ve struggled with chronic gut issues my whole life, and I suspect this infection is a major driving force behind them.

Has anyone here successfully eradicated H. pylori using a natural protocol? I want to be smart about this and ensure I’m actually eradicating it, not just suppressing symptoms. Thanks!

Did you ever find out what was wrong.Im having a lot of pain again.Under breast and below my shoulder blades, making a U in my back.I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy.the doctor gave me meds for H Pylori.i just finished the 21 day meds still have a pill for 30 days.Nausea and I finally ate after 4 days.Is this supposed to be this painful.Im going to make a appointment in the morning with the GI doctor,but this seriously cannot be every day life.The pain is horrible.

I could really do with some help as well. I was fine, a slight bit of discomfort when eating or with my medication that I take for epilepsy (which I have always had to take with milk) I couldn't take them without milk because I would get really bad heart burn and feel so nauseous even with heart burn medication a nausea tablets nothing helped.

2 months ago ( so in May 2026) I had an endoscopy done, they found that I have a hiatus hernia and H Pylory bacteria in my stomach, they gave me a months supply of antibiotics ( I was taking 1000mg of azithromycin daily) I was also given a 20mg PPI tablet to help and nausea tablets. I took every single tablet as directed etc. I went for a follow up check up with the refering doctor, he never suggested that I go for another scope even after I explained to him that I am still eating a very little ( smaller amounts than a baby serving) so he upped my stomach medication from 20mg twice a day, to 40mg twice a day for 2 weeks then come down to 40mg once a day the problem with that is that if I dont take them with Nausea tablets I can’t eat because every thing comes back out again and I am still living on porridge and boiled apples in very small amounts. Is there anyone that could help me or give me some advice as to what I should do.

@queen35 Hello, I am sorry that your going through this currently. I am not doing any better myself except my PPI meds help me. I was also re diagnosed with h-pylori which is no fun and gerd and gastritis. It's never ending.. I hope you're able to get some relief soon. I see my GI doc in the next few weeks to hopefully get some answers and help.

@linda82 No I am on my third round of trying to fight it with antibiotics but this time around I am too mentally drained to do the round of antibiotics. I really have hardly any symptoms of h-plyori so this time in all honesty I do think the docs are wrong. I have been really bad with it and not that bad this time around as they gave me pantprazole and it's helped me a lot. I am able to eat a little bit more without the aftermath of feeling sick the whole next day. I am doing ok now for the most part but I see my doc in the next few weeks so hopefully it's a good visit.

@jessica08 Well, the docs are saying I still have h-pylori or so the docs say and not sure what else to do at this point. I have been put on an acid reducer med and has helped me to eat a little more etc, as right now I don't really eat as much because of how mentally drained I am at this point. It's been like this for me for many years. Ugh I want to be in a diff body a much healthier body at this point of my life. I know it could be way worse but the pain I go thru and suffering feels like the worst for me and that's just how I see it. I could use a hug!

I am a 55-year-old female. At the end of last year (2025), I was experiencing GI issues. I was unable to keep food down and had uncontrollable diarrhea. After seeing the GI specialist in February and having a colonoscopy and endoscopy, I was advised that I had H. Pylori and was treated with three antibiotics. Immediately after completing the antibiotics, my stomach began to increase in size, which led me back to the doctor. At that time, I had an abdominal ultrasound, which revealed fluid collecting in my abdomen. I then had a CT Scan with contrast that showed I have Chylous Ascites. Since this diagnosis, I have had a surgical diagnostic test performed in my pelvis, a surgical biopsy on a small mass found on my bowel, and so far, I have had five paracenteses performed, which I am scheduled every 3 weeks to have my stomach drained. I also have Sarcoidosis and have been placed on prednisone to see if it will help with the ascites, but after taking it for almost two and a half months, nothing has changed. My GI doctor has sent me for another CT Scan with contrast, and I am awaiting the next step. All of my blood tests, cardiac tests, and biopsies show nothing wrong. With the ascites, I am experiencing swollen belly, thighs, legs, and feet, and have lost a significant amount of weight.
If you have any information regarding my medical situation, please respond. This has been very stressful, and not to mention physically overwhelming and exhausting. I am at my wits' end trying to figure out what's causing this!
