H-Pylori

Hello, My name is Jessica and I have a had a horrible stomach infection which is called H-Pylori and since then can't eat certain foods will made me very ill vomiting, diarrhea and nausea and that was the very beginning of that horrible stomach infection. It has been very stressful these past 8 months of dealing with this stomach infection. I have completed the course of very strong antibiotics and being tested for everything having an empty study done on my stomach to a colonoscopy and scope and waiting for my second study to be done on my stomach but at this point I am done with wanting to be tested but I know if I don't it might not help with not having the answers I need. I have talked to my GI doctor about still having trouble eating after having H-Pylori and have been recently tested again which came up positive but then when I did my scope it was negative so also very confused on that part. I am now at the point I can't eat normal food which is basically anything that's not gluten free or sensitive to my stomach which is starting to be anything really, I can't eat which is very stressful because I want my life back before having H-Pylori! I am wondering as now been diagnosed with gastritis is the reason I cannot eat anymore or is there other reasons you may think as to why typical foods are bothering me? I am ready to have my life back and not always sensitive to what I eat as my GI doc told me I should've been able to eat normally again and can't life just suck's! If anyone could give me some input, I would be highly grateful as now when I eat foods, it just makes me feel ill for days as I don't throw up anymore, but I do feel like I have to most of the time with not eating or eating very little foods. I just want to know why I can't eat anymore and what's actually going on with me as I am mentally drained at this point and ready for my answers. Thank you, Jess

Hello Jessica,
I had H-Pylori many years ago. I was sick for months and down to 90lbs before diagnosed with E-Coli from infected water. After all the antibiotic's I was told that you can still test positive for H-Pylori.
I took me a couple of years to fully recover. I mainly ate can pea and carrots with steamed jasmine rice and yogurt with probiotics to get my "good bacteria" back.
I also found the Camomile and peppermint tea was great for calming my gut and nausea.
Have they tested for E-Coli too?
