Is taking ibuoprofen worrisome if I have hypertension?

Long-term, yes, for one or two doses, not really. I'm not medically trained, but this is my opinion. Nobody should take medicines of any kind long-term and in largely modified recommended doses until they consult a physician.

@ehdog Occasional use of ibuprofen should be safe if your hypertension is controlled and you don't have other issues like ulcers, liver or kidney dysfunction, then it should ONLY be used as advised by your doctors.

At your next appointment, it might be good to talk to your doctor about whether ibuprofen is okay for you, and if so at what dosage and how often.

I saw a BP expert at Mayo and his only suggestion was to switch from the losartan to 80mg of telmisartan. if more help is needed he suggested Amlodipine.
