Does ibuprofen make BP higher? How much?

I have hypertension and I took 400 mg of ibuprofen.. should I worry?

Long-term, yes, for one or two doses, not really. I'm not medically trained, but this is my opinion. Nobody should take medicines of any kind long-term and in largely modified recommended doses until they consult a physician.

@ehdog Occasional use of ibuprofen should be safe if your hypertension is controlled and you don't have other issues like ulcers, liver or kidney dysfunction, then it should ONLY be used as advised by your doctors.

At your next appointment, it might be good to talk to your doctor about whether ibuprofen is okay for you, and if so at what dosage and how often.
