I can relate. Drugs help but I also went to a therapist. I got laid off after 30 years. Father had stage 4 lung cancer, my daughter survive 2 brain rumors within 3 years apart. My brother try so many times to kill himself. Then I found I have a autoimmune disease that is effecting my liver which eventually I will need a transplant. Some folks said they can’t believe how strong I am. But I’m not that strong. My faith and family support keeps me going. But you got to talk to someone. Myself holding it all in was killing me. Be strong

Hi sandy I have suffered from anxiety from a very young age and also bouts of ongoing depression. It is not easy when you feel like this. Try to stay positive and keep as active as you can. I find that especially when the anxiety is at a high level to venture out and go for a walk open spaces can help. With the depression positivity and faith have kept me going I no how hard this is and can be but things will get better. Look at your beautiful children . Always here anytime Piglit
Hi again sweetie, These feelings will subside they generally always will. It;s just that youre going through a bad time at the moment. Talk to your dr if you have these ongoing feelings. You do feel sad when you feel like this we all do Try to go out if you can even if it’s for a coffee. We all need me time. Annie x
Yes. I have been depressed and stressed out. There is a very good book dealing with depression: Feeling Good by Dr. David Burns. It deals with cognitive therapy and has been around for years. It helped me. Also, please try to take some action such as walking, yoga or some physical activity (even if you don’t feel like it). Don’t just think about things and negative thoughts. Take action! Keep everything in perspective. Life is a series of problems and challenges. Just take each day as it comes and take one step at a time. Try not to let things overwhelm you. I hope this helps.

Hi Sandy. I think I responded to someone else’s comment… There are 2 very good books that would recommend you read: Feeling Good By Dr. David Burns and also Help and Hope for your Nerves by Claire Weekes – for your anxiety. I have read them both and they are very good. In addition, please take good care of yourself. Get rest and eat a balanced diet, take a walk. Talk to a good friend. Things will get better!
I can. Because of ongoing physical problems, I can’t seem to keep a job past 90 days before I have to quit or terminated. I just missed this week because of my back&neck issues.
