Chronic stomach pain, diahrea
For over a month now I have been in chronic pain my stomach always hurts no matter what I do the pain doesn't go away but always gets worse after I eat. I also now get diahrea all the time which comes with vicious stomach cramps that seem to last all day. Things are not good here because I can barely sleep because of the pain and doctors don't prescribe me medicine for the pain and I don't know what else to do. I can't eat because the pain gets so bad that I am on the floor crying and then when the diahrea comes I generally screaming on the toilet. Any advice for how to lessen the pain would be greatly appreciated. Or any advice at all really as I am starting to get depressed because I don't know what to do anymore

Oh my I’m sorry this is happening to you. I. Sure you have seen a gastroenterologist? Have they done stool samples? Have you had a colonoscopy or endoscopy done? They need to find where the pain is coming from. Back in December I had seventeen days of diarrhea going like 13 times a day. I went to my gastro doctor who put me on an antibiotic and Flagel to calm my stomach they also did a sample which came back from the lab all normal. Return visit he said I must of had some type of bacteria, but no real diagnosis given. Said if it returned he would do a colonoscopy. So far so good. But you should not have to be in pain like this, it’s not right they need to find the cause. Please keep seeking medical care
I have to wait to see a GI doctor until February 18th that was the soonest they could get me in. The asked for a stool sample (which is basically all mucus) but I haven't heard anything yet. It sucks to feel like there is no one who can help me
Do you know what they are testing for? Mine took almost the; day# before I got results, and I had to keep calling thrm back To see if they had received them ugh I was pissed. And I would call back everyday to see if they have had a cancellation you should no5 have to wait til Feb to be seen. I worked in the medical field for 36 years believe me the office staff can be a pain in the ass if they have an attitude an$ really don’t want to be with people. Don’t let them get the better if you
They ordered a test for C.diff I guess but I don't jnow what they will see in all the mucus. I just want some answers because I am watching myself waste away. I can't eat without getting sick which leads to me barely eating. And everyone just keeps saying "just eat" well, if it was that easy don't they think I would have already been doing that? It's just hard and I feel so alone because no one understands or can help me
@hgarm Sorry you haven't received any results yet but do as cdcc said you have to be persistent and I know one thing talk nice to staff you,ll get further as in the health care system we always knew who was the negative person and they didn't get the attention first ,sorry to say Keep calling everyday and call a human service or healthcare system for help like health consumer center or whatever you have there
@hgram Just had a thought Call your insurance Company tell them about what's going on.
My insurance company doesn't care I called them trying to get approved to see a specialist and they told me unwound have to go through the steps just like everyone else
Were you on an antibiotic? That’s why they test for C-dif. Every time I ate I went to the bathroom, it got to where I had no idea what to put in my mouth.
@hgarm Till your appt have you tried any home remedies? Here's a few for stomach. Ginger tea or candy, baking soda mix in water With diarrhea your losing electrolytes can you drink Gateraid or water that has electrolytes in it ?
The test was negative for C.diff
