Camzyos mg increase

Posted by tvickery @tvickery, May 17 7:03am

Im a 58 yr old female. I've been on camzyos 5 mg for over a yr. I've been feeling pretty good although I still feel tired sometimes. I had my echo done and saw the cardiologist. He said my gradient was too high at 135 . He is changing me to the 10 mg. I haven't started it yet but I will be tomorrow. What I don't understand is I've had good results on most of my echoes but the last two wasn't. Has anybody had an increase of camzyos mg and did you have any side effects?

@hjcram

I want to thank you all for your comments and observations. I started taking camzyos just 3 weeks ago. I'm 79, have been avid about exercising for years, especially pilates, which I think helps tremendously with my feeling of well being but I've been very frustrated by my inability to walk distances and climbing long flights of stairs is an issue. I'm really hoping camzyos will help but, so far, it's a very subtle change I'm experiencing.
Everyone's comments are very helpful. Hearing of your differing experiences gives me an understanding the range of reactions to taking this drug are possible.

my camzyos experience was pretty good!
Im avid outdoors and mountain bike rider
Suffered back to back exercise induced heart failure! Could not climb a step ladder after my heart failure or walk the stairs at a movie theater
Diagnosed with HCM with severe LVOTO
Put on camzyos to get feeling better while awaiting surgery
After 1 week i could climb my ladder at home and put up christmas lights
After 3 weeks dr gave me ok to get on my bike but to ride even terrain
First 2 rides 1/2 mile was hard
Increased mileage each week by the end of the month i was at 5 miles
Next month i was riding 10 miles per ride and so on:)
Of course camzyos has its limits 🙂

My point is take it slow and listen to your body and you will start seeing those results!
Journal how yku feel after each activity and look back at it each week:)

Hope this helps:)
Best of luck
