At home covid test positive: What should I do next?

Wells couple of things that you can use: Buy a 5lb baking soda bag from Costco (cheapest) and smear the baking power around the ant hill (prior just take a thin stick and create pathways into the ant hill ) then spray some water mixed with spoon each of Neem oil & dishwashing soap.. I have had good results. In some cases I planted mint around the most vulnerable spot is the area where Vege. plants are located...(ants do not like mint )

Also every week to prevent bugs such as aphid on the leaf just add spoon each of Neem Oil and Hydrogen peroxide to prevent leaves and fruiting vegetables from getting infected...our plant trees remain green the entire season free of infection.

That all is what we do, Oh the last thing some plants need magnesium so just buy some gypsum from say Walmart and sprinkle around...

Thanks so much for the detailed information on how to keep my garden free of ants and aphids! I really appreciate it. Regarding your trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone Park in 2023, will you be traveling in an RV or taking a plane? Is your plan to camp outside or stay in a hotel? Will you eat in restaurants or cook at the campground? I would love to plan a trip too but I am concerned about all the logistics and staying safe from covid while traveling. I really like your idea of visiting a National Park since most of your trip is enjoying the outside air! 😊

@hello2015 I have just started to eat indoors at off times. I don’t think I could do a busy crowded place. I still wear my mask most places. I just had my 11 year kidney transplant appointment (everything is great!) and asked about and received Evusheld! I’m hoping this will be a game changer for me. I want to be able to spend more mask free time with my kids and grandchildren. I even went to my book club indoors and maskless last night. It was a small group in a rather large space, and I felt confident. Hoping I can start to let go of some of my fear now. Stay well and continue to take care!

Congrats on your 11 year post kidney transplant anniversary!....
How exciting! I am a two year post kidney transplant patient and I am still very much involved with the "tweaking" of my immune suppression meds due to CMV and now BK virus. I am curious, at 11 years post transplant what does your daily med cocktail look like? Do you take Mycophenolate and Tacronlimis or something else? Current dosages?

Good Questions, travel mode is always a classical debate between my wife & me. We have a 1400$ UAL coupon that will expire in early 2023, so the debate is whether to drive or fly.. & sit the first two seats of the plane ( We are not into RVs).
We do not camp but instead we rent a standalone cabin, & do not eat in restaurants, instead we carry a 4 quart Instapot which only consumes 700watt of power and you can cook anything from boiled eggs to lentil soup to Beans or rice etc within 25/40 minutes & carry a toaster for Stonefire ancient grain naans) & lot so fresh fruits
It works we do this at home pretty much every day... Will keep you posted if we go in 2023..Best Wishes..

Your travel plans sound wonderful! Beautiful National Parks to enjoy the outdoors, a standalone cabin, eat your own foods, etc It sounds like one of the safest travel ideas regarding covid and a very healthy outdoor travel experience with lots of exercise. Please keep me posted if you go. In the meantime, I am going to research the Instapot on the internet. It's the first time I heard of it. I am not handy in the kitchen, so any tools that I can find to make food easier and safely, I am interested! Lentil soup sounds delicious!

@hello2015 I take Imuran and Prograf. I was told I’m on a lowish course of immunosuppression. It sure seems to be working! I had a living, non-related donor who was a very close match. I’m so grateful to be doing so well!!

I had Covid twice. When the Evushield was available I took a chance and 6 months later my second shots. I hope I don’t ever get Covid again.
I wear a mask when I am in a building( usually the only one except for Mayo). I do go out to a few select restaurants. I avoid busy places and shop off hours

I am happy to meet you! I am a two year post kidney transplant patient. I just recovered from covid (thanks to the the magical antibodies infusion that I received the day after my positive test). You mentioned you caught covid twice.... Yuck! Was that before you started getting your Evusheld shots?
