Does anyone have asthma and experience with the monoclonal antibody Dupixent and would share pros and cons?

Thanks!

Wish you the best as well. Has anyone hear of Yupelri?

Yupelri is an anticholinergic and is sometimes given when other medications may not be working. It takes a while to build up in the body. However, beware of side effects - such as swelling lips, tongue, etc.
Sometimes treatments are worse than the symptoms. Good luck and feel better.
Have you considered Brovana (Arformoterol Tartrate)? It is via nebulizer and 2 x per day. I have found it very helpful with my Albuterol for nebulizer as well. I have been weening off of Prednisone and this has helped to stabilize me (I was hospitalized for asthma). It may be worth a try, but look at contraindications before trying any medication - checking for interactions and medical conditions.

Please let us know how you do on Fasenra and if your issues resolve discontinuing Dupixent. Now I’m concerned about my daughter being on it.

I can barely use my hands. Gripping the steering wheel even hurts and fingers are tingling. My asthma has not really improved as I am still using albuteral inhaler.

I am on my third dose of Dupixent. My hands hurt as well as my back and shoulders. I do believe the pain is now moving to my legs. My muscles are getting weaker as it is getting hard to climb steps. Is anyone else having these issues?

My experience and a thought.
I had similar issues and came to finally find out it was low, severe low, vitamin D. I came to the conclusion it was low before taking the medication I was on however the medication did lower my vitamin D. I don't know if Dupixent affects vitamin D and probably the doctors don't know either, as was my case.

I had arthlagia, sone slight stiffness in joints but it goes away as I move about. I’ve been taking it since 11/2024. Haven’t noticed anything else except not getting exacerbations.

Thank you! So sorry for the trouble you are having as well. I hope you find something that works better for you. I see my Doctor Wednesday and I think I am going to stop taking it as well.

Why? Has it given you problems?

Anyone taking Dupixent for COPD as it was recently approved in conjunction with all the other indicators? This is my 2nd go-around with it and did not get the conjunctivitis that I had the first time. I've been on it for the second time starting April 2025 (was off for almost 1 year). Have sailed along well until the last three weeks with increase in congestion and having to do aggressive pulmonary hygiene...don't know whether Ragweed pollen is the culprit or the Dupixent is yet again losing its punch or perhaps I'm Staging my disease. Not fun!

Please check if you have any cardiac conditions. Some include carpel tunnel and neuro symptoms as well (ATTR-CM- a genetic form of heart failure). It could also be some fibromyalgia that can cause this. Fibromyalgia is hard to diagnosis - usually be eliminating other causes of numbness, tingling, pain, etc. I hope you find something to help with your asthma. Albuteral inhalers are not enough and your lungs are in a constant state of inflammation. Good luck and feel better.
