Are eyepatches considered a physical aid?

I keep thinking they might be but I’m still not sure. And also, if they are is it for certain conditions?

My 18 month old grandson has A Juvenile cataract. He must wear any eye a few times
Per week on his good eye to help strengthen the other eye.

The patch is for someone I’m caring for, they’re wearing it to help with strabismus.
