Anyone here go to Vanderbilt Aorta Center

Posted by jaysue41 @jaysue41, May 24 6:37pm

Just wondering if anyone on here has been treated at Vanderbilt Aorta Center in Nashville. I am waiting for a call from scheduling there. I am not pleased with my local cardiologist and disgusted with my local ER. Vanderbilt is approximately 3 hours from me.

Where are you located?

The reason I asked is that anyone east of the Cumberlands maybe closer to Duke than Vandy, and Duke has an excellent Aortic Aneurysm group over there.

@rlhix thanks. Google says I'm 6 hrs from Durham. 3 from Vandy.

I just looked at the map. I didn't realize Durham was that far. I guess because I'm used to Charlotte and Asheville.

Thank you so much for posting this. I had no idea that Vanderbilt had an Aorta Center. I am about 2.5 hours from Vanderbilt Medical Center. Made many trips there on the Veterans Administration hospital side. I am out in the sticks not far from Waynesboro, TN. Like you, I am not real happy with my current cardiologist and am exploring changing over to a cardiologist who is with Vanderbilt Heart in Waynesboro through the VA's Community Care. https://www.vanderbilthealth.com/locations/vanderbilt-heart-waynesboro
