Am I done growing any taller?

Posted by based65433 @based2424, Jan 26, 2025

I’m 14.5 years old, and around 5’6. I haven’t grew in more than a year, and i’m worried that i’m done growing. One thing is because I have facial hair, and people are saying facial hair at this age means i’m not likely to grow any taller. My dad is 5’8, and my mom is 5’0-5’1. I had a big growth spurt when I was 11-13 and I grew from 5’1-5’5 and then shortly after grew to around 5’6. After that it stopped.

I'm from the Philippines, My height today is 5'5, 15 year old boy and I need to know why I did not gain any cm last 3 years. Since I was on 6th grade i was around 164-165cm I was the only one who is tall in the room. From 7th grade to 9th grade I have noticed myself why I did not grow? I tried chatting from any Ai and I wasn't sure if it was sure. My dad is 5'5, my mom is 5'0 my brother is 5'5 and my sister is 5'0. But I have taller blood relatives around 5'8-5'11.Im very insecure, I tried doing exercise for now and see if I'll get any cm this month. My pubic hair started around I was 12-13? Yeah and I'm not done at puberty yet since I don't have any facial hair, my voice hasn't changed yet, my armpit just started last year. I never went to the doctor yet to see if my bone age older than me. If anyone knows why I couldn't gain an cm last 3 years pls tell me soo I would know

You are the same height as your father and brother. Try to focus on positive aspects of yourself and don’t be overly concerned about your height. Many families have some taller and some shorter members based on genetics that we cannot change. Life can be challenging at your age. Stick with healthy habits - food, exercise, sleep, positive self image. Look up the Serenity Prayer. It’s good advice for all of us. Best wishes for you to grow in confidence in yourself.

You are not done yet my bro. You'll grow a few more inches around 15-17. it's from bone age. if your bone age is older than you, it's possible that you will stop growing slowly
