Have you tried Triphala. I always travel with it . Itâs an ancient Ayurvedic remedy for constipation ( among other gastrointestinal issues). Itâs a combination of 3 berries. Works like a charm and feels natural.
On a trip to Bhutan, a fellow traveler was backed up for at least 5 days when I learned of the problem⊠I offered this remedy and he declined. Two nights later his wife knocked on my door and decided something had to be done⊠we were to hike up Tigers Nest ( a highlight and the end of an incredible journey) the next day and he was in such pain he couldnât go.
Well, next morning he came to breakfast able and ready for the day⊠thanked me profusely.
I would opt for organic version.
Good luck
Hello,
I spoke with my doctor - Dr. Mark Condren who is an MD but also an integrative physician, about constipation. He suggested that I take Magnesium CItrate 150 mgs. magnesium 2 twice a day. I also eat Dates. That seems to help me everyday. Sometimes I feel emptied out and sometimes I feel a little constipated. Everyday I have a Bowel Movement. If I can be of any more help, please contact me.
Most physicians only prescribe over the counter remedies and or other drugs.
Good luck!!
There is a tea called Smooth Move. It works!!
Check out a Mrs. Barbra o'neil website. She's well informed about helping people without asking for money and she has a lot of informative youtube videos on women issues, poltices, heart health..."Check her Out!!!" You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Godbless.
I have had issues with going and I also suffer with gout. I tried eating dried tart cherries and drinking tart cherry juice. Both work for me and you need to be careful as too much and itâs going to clear you out like school at the bell. I use some tart cherries in cereal, salads, dipped in chocolate and they all work. The juice I normally drink 3-6 oz wait an hour and try a little more. My choice of juice as I donât like the ones that taste like prunes is: Indian Summer Montmorency Cherry Juice. I get it at Samâs club , Walmart or on Amazon. Tart cherries you can get almost anywhere and are similar to raisins but taste much better to me.
Iâve had the same surgeryâŠ. I canât eat anything high fiber. So lots of meat and veggies and salads. Things are much better this way. Hope youâre coping better now
Have you guys tried to boil the mixed vegetables 30 mins , blend them, then eat one cup in the morning and one cup in the evening? It helps constipation a lot. My husband used to have constipation but now he refused to eat the vegetables juice because that caused bowl movement.
Sending you love and prayers🙏🏻😇. My heart goes out to you, I know this message wonât cure your âissuesâ but I want to just let you know, youâre not alone🤗🫶🏻🩷🩷.

Here is what healed me of all lower GI problems: Get pre-cut butternut squash and place in a skillet with a tight lid or a Dutch oven plus two tablespoons of water. Secure lid and heat on low until you can smell the squash; do not lift lid until you can smell it. It should be completely soft and thus done at this time. Eat with a little butter or vegan substitute with salt and pepper to taste. This is guaranteed to clean you out 🧹. Other options are any of the cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, red or green cabbage, etc.), asparagus, and green or French beans. With the cabbage, substitute apple juice or apple cider vinegar for the water. No sugar! Once you start eating fresh vegetables daily prepared in this way (always on stovetop with a lid and unopened until the foodâs fragrance is emanating), your gut will heal. This type of cooking is one of the staples of macrobiotics, by the way. Best wishes for good health. 🙏🏻
