Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

Is there anyone out there with this horrible rare disease/disorder called hemifacial spasms?
After 4 yrs of suffering with this nightmare illness and going through 8 doctors, RN’s, PA’s, telling me they never heard of it or that it’s anxiety, finally the 8th doctor diagnosed it as hemifacial spasms. A very rare neuromuscular nervous system disorder with no cure & what may help is Botox injections or brain surgery! I opted for Botox injections. The first one was 11/29/2021 & my 4th injection caused Botox complications to where it made my whole side of the face droop badly & I even drool some on that side of my mouth. I’ve been going every 4 months. Got my next injections set for April but not I’m thinking it’s just not for me. This 4th visit for Botox has me looking like I had a stroke!!! Anyone else dealing with these issues???

1 ReactionI have the same thing, with vibrations/palpatations waking me middle of night every night. Started taking Melatonin before sleeping. That seems to be working. It hasn't stopped it completely, but has made it much more mild. I do light exercise every morning because its the only thing that seems to relieve the palpatations/vibrations after I get up. Cancer medications I took for seven years, I am convinced caused all of it. I am set up to go t a doctor to have the brain checked out just to be safe. I stopped taking the medication. Dont believe there is a cure for all this, but am hoping that I can through exercise make it less crazy.

1 ReactionI experienced this yesterday after feeling sick and like was going to pass out. As I laid down I started to experience what I call electrical buzzing that I could physically feel with my hand at any point on my body. This was not twitching. It felt like current running through body .
Is that what yall are experiencing?

Nice username.
Hi there @freeassange, welcome. I'm sorry you felt poorly yesterday. How odd it must have been to feel the sensation of an electric current running through your body. I have experienced similar symptoms from neuropathy and central sensitization syndrome.
Was yesterday your first bout with these symptoms?

1 ReactionMy father and mother both take gabapentin and receive great benefit. Why do you feel so strongly about advising others to not take it? Have you had a poor experience with this medication?

1 ReactionI,too, am having these symptoms. I was thinking it was connected to Covid until reading your post. Have you heard of Central Nervous System Sensation? It can be found on the Mayo Clinic web site. With so many folks experiencing this, I now think it may be a side effect of WiFi and digital transmission.

1 ReactionGood morning @rudai, @potta54321, @freeassange and others -
Periodically I post about Central Sensitization Syndrome (CSS) for newer members experiencing odd, annoying and somewhat unexplained symptoms.
@rudai, thank you for mentioning CSS. Allow me to post Dr. Sletten's video about chronic pain and the science behind central nervous system sensitization.
Mayo Clinic's Dr. Sletten presents on Central Sensitization Syndrome:
I hope this video brings clarity as to how and why our body's CNS can upregulate and cause confusing, disruptive symptoms like internal vibrations. The good news is that there are ways of managing, coping and working through symptoms to help quell them over time.
Here's more on Mayo Clinic's Pain Rehabilitation Center:

I graduated from Florida's Pain Rehab Center 2 years ago and it was a life-changing experience. I'm pleased to share more if anyone is interested.
@rudai, @potta54321, @freeassange and others - do you mind getting back to me after watching the video on CSS, and letting me know if you found the information helpful?
