How do you deal with dry eyes?
I have dry eyes due to sjogren's syndrome. Does anyone else deal with dry eyes?

I’m dealing with this but I’m not sure why it’s happening I’m just trying to manage it until further investigation is done by my team. 🙏🏻 blessings of healing ❤️🩹
I have severe Sjodrens- not only do I have dry eyes, but I must drink a sip of water before during and after taking a bite of food or I can't swallow it. No tears available to cry, and worst of all can cause difficulty with bowel function. My Ophthalmologist showed me how to massage my lacrimal glands (above your eyes), run my finger across my lower eyelid, and to use warm compresses. But what I have found to help the most is an eye drop that contains N-Acetylcarnosine called Can-C. It provides me the most relief for a longer period of time. You can get it on Amazon, and it's not any more expensive than other eye drops. Using the bottle can be tricky; you can't get any drops out by squeezing the sides of the bottle, you have to press the bottom of the bottle. Hope this helps-

1 Reaction@maryy @meg2147 have anyone tried any special or specific eye drops for the symptoms of the dry eyes?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻 blessings of healing ❤️🩹 🌼
My eyes are very dry eyes I am now using Thealoz Duo
10 ml which I only can get from my optometrist
I tried Restasis, and it actually seemed to make my condition worse. For some reason, it would "thicken" into a gel like substance that would blur my vision. For me, the Can-C drops work best. I just purchased another set of 2 bottles from Amazon for about $29.00. They aren't expensive at all-

3 ReactionsSounds like you've tried just about all the usual stuff. I imagine "Soothe" was one of them. I've used it for quite a while, but the best help I've discovered was "Bruder moist compress". You can find them on Amazon. Just warm it up and place it over the eyes. It's real handy for any time of the day, when you need some relief. Hope you discover something that works. I understand the struggle you're having.

5 ReactionsI have blepharitis and dry eye. The Bruder eye mask twice a day for 10 minutes, along with Ocusoft eye lid wipes ( daily) and Refresh preservative free drops during the day. Refresh Cellulix gel drop at night. Seems like never ending eye care but these eye conditions for me seem chronic.

4 ReactionsI believe that the best treatment for dry eyes is what is most natural. Therefore whatever makes the eye produce it’s own tears is preferable to artificial tears. I use the mask for 10 minutes twice a day then lightly massage the upper eye lids downward and the lower ones upward. If I still have dry eyes then I will go for the artificial tears.

1 ReactionIt is working better than drops from the drug store. Unfortunately the bottle does not give the ingredients.
