Positive ANA: What might be the cause?

Posted by FreedomWarrior @freedomwarrior, Apr 28, 2021

Hello,
I am reaching out to anyone who has had a positive ANA blood test result. I aced Rheumatology testing and I believe that Mercury toxicity is the cause. Does anyone have a similar case or know somebody who does..? TY..!

Oh that’s weird did you have any body symptoms

My legs mostly get sensations of tingling and stabbing. Sometimes in the biceps. Also my tongue burns and eyes twitch.
I also get numbness under my jaw. Also light head and at times my arms and head feel very heavy hard to use.

Hi Ana,

I understand. In June after a stomach bug, I became super itchy and broke out in hives, which I think is dermatographia. I started taking OTC anti histamines and Quercetin but I felt like a tuning fork that was humming all the time and abandoned all meds. So now I'm itchy and quick to have a skin reaction. Anyway, my GP ordered blood testing and my ANA came back positive at at titer level of 1:320 for DFS 70, which by itself if you read research, is a marker for non rheumatoid autoimmune disease. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I see an allergist on Thursday. I'm telling her no meds. I think they mess up the immune system. Just tell me what the triggers are. The earliest date for me to see a rheumatologist is in October. I'm taking magnesium for nerve and muscle support because clearly, I need to relax.

Be well, ANA. I wish doctors could give patients complete profiles instead of going down the path of different specialists and a battery of assessments. That does more harm than good to mental health. I'll keep you posted after I see the allergist.

Ana,
If you think it might be a stroke I would go in and get check out at the ER to be safe.
My tongue all day has been burning and driving me crazy.
I have AFIB as well so worrying about all this don't help that heart issue.

My ANA was elevated too but Rheumatology said possible Sjogren's but hard to say. I was only slightly positive and elevated in other areas. I see Nuerology again next Tuesday (26) and see what he thinks after waiting 6 weeks.

What strand or antibodies did they find for you? I'm sorry if I'm prying, I'm just so curious.
