Losartan - can it cause hardening of the arteries and heart failure?

@glenngalterr I'd like to add my welcome also I have been on Losartan for years and have never had any side effects from the med of course everybody is different

@glenngaltere I had a triple by pass in 1996 and am still here no hardening of the arteries os heart failure My cardiologist says my heart is fine

That is a very interesting question, and made me curious because I have been taking it for some time, even though my blood pressure is "marginal" because I have a strong multi-generational pattern of heart disease in both my parent's families, but no personal history or other risk factors like smoking, diabetes or weight. My primary provider called it the "medication of choice" for people like me.
