Did they have to break your ribs? How was the pain trying to sleep or to lift a gallon of milk or any other pain? Thanks dave

Yes they broke my ribs. They wired it so well that it didn't hurt. They give you heart shaped pillow. I went to sleep every night clutching it to my chest. It took some time for the heart to adjust to the valve. But I;m doing great right now. Thanks Dennis

The staff and my Surgeon were great. The anesthesia was the worst part. I had a panic when I woke up. My big mistake was not doing my breathing tube like they told me. I had very shallow breathing at first. Dennis
