is it safe to assume you meant "flutter"
Sure , flutter sorry for the typo
Any feedback
I am also taking pradaxa 150 mg x2 a day, when I started this med the cardio doc made me stop taking the aspirin and have not taken it since....I was told there is some interaction between aspirin and pradaxa and should not be mixed....
I would also say you could not replace pradaxa with aspirin.....
I just found a research in the internet saying that Aspirin 100 once a day is better than Pradaxa 150 in avoiding strokes. And I want to make sure is it ok to switch to Aspirin or not
of course you should consult with your doctor before making any changes to your meds, if you could post the link here for the information you found I would like to check it out.
All the studies I've seen show the new blood thinners are significantly better at reducing stroke risk than aspirin. I'd be interested in seeing the study you're referring to also.
