How do you deal with dry eyes?
I have dry eyes due to sjogren's syndrome. Does anyone else deal with dry eyes?

1 Reaction@lacy2 - you have dealt with ALOT, I am glad you posted it so we all could see how much more others have to bear than us. I admit to having pity parties for myself. Last night my husband stayed home (his only release is going out with male friends once a week; I think that is healthy since a lot of guys in the neighborhood have no friends besides their wives) because I just couldn't take another minute of pain. Someone needed to watch our geriatric dog while i lie in bed and my sister came over to give me an upper back massage. Our fur baby has to be watched every minute or he will lick his hind legs raw, each has huge open sores we are trying to heal. Tried the collar of shame but the guy is VERY flexible and can pull his feet to his mouth!
I hope you find some relief and a doctor that cares. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

1 Reaction@loribmt @lacy2 please post the results of using the omega 3/6/9 - I have spent so much money on supplements that didn't work.
@bustrbrwn22 Omega 3/6/9 are totally effective against dry eye. However, I can only say that for what causes my dry eye, they work.
@lacy2 Well my surge5 told me to get of red meat to much sat.fat.He can trim all fat off I do from chicken, turkey also We are to have a little sat fat but not a lot.Its the healthy diet no smoking and rarely alcohol ?I think its 2 for men I have a wine but not everyday Of course I'm sure his cardiologist told him all this ,he needs to take care of himself so he can help you 😉
@lacy2 Between the unexpected winter in Texas and tornadoes its be a terrible weather year for sure

1 Reaction@bustrbrwn22 The Omega3/6/9 supplement is interesting and might be worth pursuing. However, I’m on several post-transplant meds yet. So before I take anything it needs to be run past my transplant team pharmacist and doctor. But it’s worth checking into. I’ll be sure to post results if I do take it.
@cherriann, I just opened your post and saw Systane. That is what I use and I will share my reasons. I have itchy skin and have allergies to sulfa. I only use products that have passed the dermatology guidelines for eye products without sulfa. Systane is one of them. Just an FYI really. Aging eyes are a reality. It is 91% humidity today where I live now and 12% humidity where II used to live. My eyes say thank you to me every day. Thanks so much for sharring.
May you have contentment and ease.
Chris
