My dad has a mass on bladder and kidney not functioning

Not a whole lot goes on i guess- we celebrate Christmas day with a brunch at my parents- and gifts for the little ones and then play a family gift game some are good some are silly. 😊 my sisters and i will be Meeting with mom and splitting up the menu between us but mom wont give some things up. 😬My brother makes gumbo- yum -Us kids offered our homes up this year, but they still want us all to come there. So thats what we’ll do. 🙂 day by day 🙂

I’m sitting at sams. Getting prescriptions- mom was cleaning blinds fell off a chair ambulance took her to hosp- i met her in er shes ok xrayed no broken bones just extremely sore. Getting some epsom salt and salon pas patches and whatever doc prescribed...😊 i may be staying with her a while

@formydad Oh, no! Just what she or anyone in the family didn't need right now! How are you doing with this all?

For dinner Im doing good thanks-😊 i got some food we ate, they are both settled in and i did all they would let me do tonight they told me to go home. That they would be ok- i said ok but im calling in the morning and if you need anything mom ill be there. im prob going back over just to be Sure she’ll prob be more sore the next few days before shes better so i ll be seeing what she’d like to get done that i can do... whew.. going to bed! Tomorrows a whole new day! Thanking God it wasnt so bad! And nothings broken! Praise!

@formydad I would wager that your mom is really feeling all those sore spots today. And saying, "thank goodness I got all those things done". God's way of making her slow down for a bit? She and your dad can rest together, and that just might be perfect!
Don't forget to relax a bit, yourself. a hot cup of tea and a magazine or book for a while will do wonders.

@formydad Your parents are so very fortunate to have raised such a caring person, and also that you are geographically so close to them. My son and daughter are both very caring but neither lives close by so I am very conscious of what might happen at some point in time.
I am sorry to hear about your Mom's fall, but glad that it was not worse. Thank goodness she didn't break anything. I hope she won't be sore for too long.

@formydad oh, oh, just what your mom needed! Maybe she was giving you and the other siblings a hint about getting an occasional house cleaner. That’s what I had to do and she’s a real life saver! Would make a nice, and needed, gift. Could all of you talk about it?

She would never be able to let someone else do it too picky about that for sure 🙂 shes trained me well!
Im gonna head there for that the end of the week 🙂 she is sore and currently sitting in another er with dad tonight- in pain with no meds and her phones dying- 🥺 mom said stay put ill call u with more tomorrow.. mom says shes not letting them send him home in pain like he is in -they did an mri saw where his bladder was theres fluid filling it tht where the pain is-waiting in urologist to decide what next- she said he’ll either be here or shipped to barnes... so guess ill find out more in the am.. my aunt n uncle are also on call with mom- and they can get there faster than me im about an hour from them.. ill keep ya updated. Poor mom no meds and shes hurting 🙁 dads hurting too -pray
