dr daylu at u of m sent me it a dementia a woman that says maybe basil dementia but want a spinal tap that I can't afford about 4 to 8k for a true diagnosis any trouts on what to do

Thank you, I still can't find a support group all are over 20 miles away but I thank you all for your kindness and compassion

Hello Cathy,
Can you or do you know what stage your at 1-7?
If not can you let us know what your able to do and not do?
Any visual problems
Do you read, watch tv
Do you have a caregiver
Any balance issues
Do you fix your own meals
Get dressed
Memory issues
If we knew more of your current status people may be better equipped to offer suggestions.

I do not know stage, can dress shower clean house but not as well as before pca l can do laundry take short walks pay bills but I mess up and waste checks trying I can dress myself shower makes me uncomfortable don't know why but I shower daily I watch tv but not a lot no visual problems I have had glasses since I was 12 I am nearsighted I cook with my daughter can make my own food I can drive but don't drive far or daily daughter rides with me lose my glasses a lot in the house no balance issues trouble with math andspelling

thank you for asking no support in my area would love to come to mayo Florida your Drs and clinic and housing sounds great but not in my budget I am envious for those you treat at mayo
