How about a laugh, (hopefully)
I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Yesssss.... but dangerous territory. Like politics. But still super funny. Wish I could PM. Just the one. It’s soo tempting. What’s the tolerance level generally here?
@ellerbracke excuse me for putting on but racest jokes don't go Jake can tell you that looking forward to some
With regards to dangerous territory, I want point out #2 of Community Guidelines:

-Exercise tolerance and respect toward other participants whose views may differ from your own. Disagreements are fine, but mutual respect is a must.
-Realize that sarcasm and joking will often be misunderstood.

I hope that this is helpful.
Rest assured. Not racist. Just political.
@ellerbracke
Unfortunately there may be people who can’t see a joke for what it is and might take offense. I like all types of jokes, hope you will will message it to me when you can. In the meantime use discretion.
Jake
So I am still allowed to make a clean joke about a public figure in the spirit of a joke, right? Like wow, there’s a really funny punch line, without having to fear blowback from all-out?
@ellerbracke
You can try but there is no guarantee. It might be pulled, just depends on the powers that be and how they believe others may interpret it. I posted a joke that was pulled. Someone was afraid it may be interpreted as racist. Hopefully yours won’t be.
Jake
@ellerbracke @jakedduck1 Just as there are many different types of people, there are different types of jokes. And many different ways to "take" them. Best to erg on the side of caution. For example, my husband cracks jokes all the time that I find offensive, and when I say so, he says I have no sense of humor.
Ginger
@gingerw
Don’t try and analyze them just laugh at them. Can you post a couple of the more acceptable ones and see how they fly.
Jake
@gingerw oh my goodness, are we married to the same man? My husband, along with the “groaners”, does tell some funny jokes but after around the hundredth time they cease to be funny.
