Aortic Aneurysm – when do I make an appointment?

I have a 4.1cm ascending aortic aneurysm, I have had alot of testing this year. Should I wait until it gets to 5cm before i make the appointment at mayos?

i will probably come to my appointment by myself. Are there cheaper hotels within walking distance? Can you recommend one?

@anniejam When you call Mayo for your appointment, ask them for information about local hotels that have shuttles to Mayo or which are within walking distance. Many hotels have cooperative arrangements with major medical centers.

Is there a place or chart or a way to know the risks of putting off ascending aortic aneurysm and leaky valve surgery? How much risk of a serious event is there?
