Advice for erection problems etc
Hello I’m 65 in decent physical condition, just the normal high cholesterol, blood pressure issues. Take meds for those and mild anti depressants. The ED meds help get an errction but can not ejaculate. No sensitivity. No prostTe pain and no excessive urination. Anyone experience this and if so what is a next step or possible treatment?

I'm sorry. I'm new to the Mayo Clinic discussion group here and can't remember to what subject I had commented on your comment... Please help me remember as I'm serious about fixing my issue.
@air4dave I would suggest trying trimix
It’s working nicely for me but just very firm
My urologist suggests changing proportions of trimix to be harder
I also want to know about quad mix
The finasteride suppresses sexual desire and quad mix has a forth med that is for mental stimulation

2 Reactions@jsimek I've not heard of Trimix. What's the best way to get good info on it? When you say firm, what does that mean - like a strong erection when you were in your 20s-30s?
@air4dave try trimix
Works for me
@air4dave Update:
After doing some more research and speaking with one of the commentators on this site, I started doing pelvic floor exercises. That actually has been very beneficial and works for me. I am not interested in doing the implant route, but I can understand going this route for those who have way worse problems than I had!
Doing the pelvic floor exercises after a week and a half proved to be the solution to keeping my erection. It doesn’t always work for me, but 90% of the time it does.
@air4dave what pelvic exercises are you doing?
@ohioman I have looked into several different youtube videos and mayo clinic explanations/solutions. I'm definitely NOT going through anything permanent, such as implants! I had heard about doing the Pelvic exercises but felt they were foolish...until a few weeks ago. I still watch this AI gal on YT (she's easy on the eyes and speaks clearly). Her name is Elena and I started with this:https://www.youtube.com/watch.
Then, I typed in Pelvic floor exercises - Kegal it's also called - and watched this: https://www.youtube.com/watch
This is what I still do daily! I actually have it on my phone's calendar to repeat everyday so I don't forget. After doing this several times a day...in a week we tried sex again - it worked! So...I keep doing it every day. It's been about 5 weeks now and we have sex weekly. Recently, however, I couldn't achieve a sustained erection but, I just waited another few days and it worked again. So...advice: be patient, force yourself to not think about your "failures". The more DOUBT you can get out of your mind the better you will perform. Watch some of these videos, discuss it with your wife, or partner, and give yourself time to make some changes in your life.
Have you had prostate surgery of any kind?
@air4dave thanks! No prostate surgery. Active Surveillance (Gleason 3 + 3), though bump in PSA suggesting time for another MRI
Had the penile doplar done showing reduced blood flow coming in (though no leakage out). Just looking for ways to get past current wobbly erections.

1 Reaction@ohioman I completely understand! Have you, are you, seeing a urologist? If not, please get a referral from your Primary.
Can I ask how old you are and have you been using Cialis or Viagra or...?
Bottom line, again...try doing the kegel exercises daily and throughout the day. It's easy and you can do anytime and anywhere.
Hope you get some relief and success !
