Linda-
Do you know if this one will be able to be seen afterwards without the necessity of seeing it on the same day it is being held, if one can't view it the day it will be held?

Yes, Barbara they’ve always put them up on their YouTube channel in the past.

Highlights from yesterday -
Research is getting more organized - across the globe. - Studies are underway to follow Brinsupri users for up to 5 years.
- NJH is doing phage therapy on their third or fourth patient who was otherwise treatment-resistant, and building a databank to facilitate developing it as a wider treatment.

Airway clearance is being called one of the cornerstones of managing bronchiectasis and NTM, with experience backing the assertions. Throughout the day, presenters stressed that neither Brinsupri nor antibiotic therapy replaces airway clearance.

Dr Daly and others repeated throughout the day that a positive sputum sample should not automatically lead to antibiotic therapy. This will make me more confident in suggesting to anyone being prescribed the drugs based only on a culture that they should be seeking treatment at a center of excellence. This is really important as more and more asymptomatic people are being diagnosed with bronchiectasis and/or NTM as an incidental finding when getting a CT scan for lung cancer, heart disease, or some other issue.

Dr Honda was on way at the end of the day, and given too little time (in my opinion) to talk about a topic we all have questions about - sterilization. Read my comments here:

I'm sorry that I am unable to go into detail answering all your questions that will arise, so if you did not enroll, you will have to wait for the videos to hit YouTube.

@sueinmn

The videos are not available like last year for $25? Are they now available on Youtube? All of them?

@ddemark01 If you open this one on YouTube, the rest will be dowen the side of the page:

I paid the $25 for the conference so was able to listen to most of it live. In addition, we got access to the Power Point decks (in .PDF format ) used by the presenters. I don't know of any way to pay after the fact, but you don't need to.

@sueinmn How did you get the PowerPoint decks? I also paid the $25, but did not receive any information about access after the event. I did watch the videos on YouTube, but looks like that was free to everyone?

@pgpunch An email containing a link to the decks was provided the morning of the meeting. I used the information to download them. Unfortunately I can't find the message now. The files are in pdf format, and mostly too big to add here. Maybe contact the registrar for help?
