41 year old Luque rods.

I have been searching for any studies or support platforms for woman with Luque rods.
My surgery, by Dr Carr at Emanuel Hospital in 1986, was at age 13. I am now 54 and my thoracic spine is the only part that doesn't hurt. My lumbars have taken a toll over the years and now I am looking at a hip replacement. I am very active and in good shape. I need help finding research on four decades old titanium back surgery. Or a doctor I can work with.

brendsr, I would want Lawrence Lenke. https://spinehealth.org/lawrence-lenke-md/ You really do want an experience specialist. It might not serve you well to be too far from home. If you tell us your state or city, there may be a closer recommendation.
The Luque rods are a little more complex to remove than the Harringtons.
