Morning Anxiety

Posted by anniegk @anniegk, Aug 10, 2017

How many of you that suffer from Panic, Anxiety and Depression find that their symptoms are worse in the morning and gradually get better towards evening?

Me! but like you I do tend to settle a little as the day goes on mainly evenings. I just can't understand why they keep changing my medication because the previous one didn't do anything for me. Is there something out there that will give me some relief? God Bless and take care Patti

@parus- Good morning! I have scoliosis too. I am not bent over but of course it changes certain things. If I try and zip up my right boot, it's very difficult. My left one is easy. Certain exercises are easier are one side but I find very difficult on the other, etc. I agree, seek an ortho's opinion.

@merpreb Yes, scoliosis does add to our problems. This is one of mine as well, however, not as bad as some have.

Here is a video and discussion done on Scoliosis in 2017, it has some good information.

Patti- They keep changing your medication because they are trying to help you. If all your doctors and the ER people say that there they can't find out what is wrong then how can they prescribe medicine for you? Are they pain meds? Medicines are not cures, they are treatments. Not all pain can be treated as well as others. But something is definitely wrong Patti. Go to the ER

@parus- Was this for migraines or arthritis, or both?

@merpreb I end up with severe headaches due to the tightness in head/neck/shoulder region. Why I believe it is time for an ortho doc for x-rays. Got to do something. I have OA and can deal with thus. Need to know what is causing all of the pain. Scoliosis does not help either. Poor muscles are stressed which stresses me. I cannot even do my morning routine with of Tai Chi this morning. Whine whine. Trapped in a body that still has some living to do. I would rather know if there is nothing can be done than not delving into things. Tylenol helps very little when the pain gets out of control. SCREAM! Thanks everyone fro allowing me to vent. So many of us here are faced with struggles.

@brit I went through a year without a primary. The primary is the key. The ER doctors cannot refer you. Is there a hospital social worker in your local? A thought when you go to the ER.

@parus- I hear you. Pain seems to effect us in a way that becomes a vicious circle- like dominoes falling. Every little thing effect another. Can you take something other than Tylenol at home? NSAIDs?

They are medications for my mental state. I don't have pain other than what I suffer mentaly. My mental state is awful and the doctors seem to try but so far no luck. I am afraid they will just get tired of me coming in and saying "it didn't work. He usually just acts like "here we go again". Or maybe it is just me thinking I am bothering him. God Bless Patti p.s. going to the ER doesn't help they just draw blood take scans and perscribe "another med". Rather stay with my doctor.

@merpreb Thank you so much for the validation. I am not bent over but have that tale-tail hump at the right shoulder. Has to be an answer.
