1 Reaction@llucier Thank you so much for moving me!! To tell you the truth.. my allergist just sent me away after the shot with instructions "to keep your epi pen close".. my boyfriend asked if anyone had had to use theirs that they knew about.. and the nurse said no...he asked twice and very pointedly.. well I made the mistake of getting off my promethazine 2 doses that night and it's been horrible ever since..( she did say you can take your regular meds.. but I don't take promethazine all the time..just since May ..when I say the allergist the 1st time May 6thand she said "you're not allergic to anything.. just eat anything you want and if it bothers you , stop and try it again in 2 weeks".. so I had to take an antibiotic I could usually take and went thur 3 weeks of trying different ones and reacting..I have been out of the house 7 times since May 6th and cancelling other dr appts.. so I haven't even called the allergist back..(it was such a mess just getting the shot approevd).. now everything I eat is making me sick.. so the 1st night at about 7 PM I started sneezing.. and then eyes watering and then chest pains and faint (BP ok) at about 1 AM..the next day I felt like I was run over by a truck.. whole body pain.. now it's the following Tuesday and everything I eat except applesauce makes me ill.. nauseated (8mg dissolving Zofran doesn't put a dent in it) and severe abdominal cramps.. I feel like I have something stuck in my right eye and chest hurts sometime..dizzy.. but..I did not know what to expect.. no anaphylactic reaction yet..just miserable..(most of my hives are "internal" ..systemic I guess) anyway praying alot!! And still standing in faith for healing!! You're such a wonderful monitor.. so nice and so kind.. I really appreciate you and this forum!!
