Anyone started myqorzo 5 mg? Experience please.

I am starting myqorzo soon - hope it helps with my symptom of fatigue . Staying on 125 mg Metropolol as my BP is well regulated. What has been your experience with myqorzo?
Thanks

Just started 5 mg Aficamten 2 days ago. Had been on Camzyos since 8/2024. It worked wonderfully. However, my ejection fraction was hovering around 50, so dose reduced to 2.5 mg. Not optimal re: symptoms but better than nothing. Have been designated as a "super" responder to Camzyos (not a compliment). Means that I am a poor metabolizer (liver pathway that metabolizes Camzyos) so more drug likely stays in my system, thus affecting my EF. Aficamten supposedly uses a different metabolic pathway, so hopeful that I can be prescribed optimal dose.

Suspect metoprolol as the cause of your fatigue as it slows down your heart rate and metabolism. As I said in other threads, they had me up to 100 mg a day and I could barely function, but after starting CAMZYOS they reduced me 1st to 50 mg metoprolol and then finally down to 25 mg metoprolol only at night and it was much better… The other side effect of metoprolol is weight gain and it seems that after I had gained it there seems to be no way to get rid of it since I am restricted from exercise except for light walking and chair exercise… Very frustrating. I am 70 years old and have been on CAMZYOS since March 2024.

I have now been taking Myqorzo for three months. I’m at 10mg now. Recent testing shows improvement with my exercise capacity. I wish I understood all the details so I could share them here. What I was happy to see after the last round of testing last week was “the blood pressure response was normal. Functional capacity is excellent for patients age.” I feel better than I have felt for the past five years!
