Foot neuropathy: What gives you relief?

Posted by kathrina @kathrina, Nov 5, 2019

It seems if I get enough activity/exercise daily I don’t have pain; if not, am awakened from sleep and must get up (even in the middle of the night). What’s going on & what more should I do to avoid rest-disruption?

If they didn't do the injections along with the sanexas you will be lucky to get any benefit out of the treatment.

I use magnesium with hemp from Amazon and put X-Large’s stocked over my feet. It works really well.
I also have a prescription compounded cream but it’s sticky. I use socks over my feet for it also. Carpet hurts bottom of my feet so I sleep with socks on. The wooden floors in Germany don’t hurt as bad.

Hello,I didn't get through all 45 pages, but reading about tens or nmes units. I haveca nmes but where do you place the pads ?
My problem are is on top of my left foot. Every night by nine, it starts this burning electrical shock type feeling. But it does it every 10 -15 seconds. Like a pulse. No way to get any sleep. I've tried the lidocain creams, and menthol, there no help. So maybe the nmes will help, just need to know where to place the pads. Any help with this ? (When I do get up, I drink a cup of coffee, and it stops.. maybe the caffeine helps)

Try magnesium spray on bottoms of feet. Before going to bed. This helped me tremendously. If it itches you have low magnesium. It will subside after few minutes

Magnesium is great for lots of stuff, too.
A few weeks ago I started peptide injections that cover different & varied issues ( if they work for U). One is for healing, etc. The jury is still out for helping neuropathy in my feet, but I fractured my humerus a few weeks ago & it healed quickly, thankfully, as it was horrific pain. Still doing range of motion strengthening, but no pain. I do ‘feel the tingling’ in my feet now, so I’m going to continue at least knowing I’m getting help somewhere-I do have a bit more energy & I recommend Hydrogen Water Tablets every morning! Nuism is the one I’m using while I wait for the more highly recommended one to be delivered(?) who knows these days?! I’m going to keep trying it all. If U can afford dry-needling, I believe that helped the most so far. HBOT THERAPY the best-but I have idiopathic, & have to have diabetes for that to be covered by insurance.

the neuropathy in my feet which i have long had only at night, is now occuring during the day as well. I walk a lot andhave no car so anything that interfers with walking is a problem. I am 89 however so perhaps age is also my enemy. i am not a diabetic or have any other autoimmune etc diseases that i know of. but I do have afib flutter and have a pace maker and take blood thinner so I do see a cardiologist every three months. . I havent been to a neurologist because I dont know if they do anything. My pcp thinks I should go to physical therapy which I have not done - do any of you find that PT helps? At my age i am not going to do anything invasive but am willing to do as much as possible with creams etc. I never heard of magnesium oil - I take a magnr seum pill in the morning - I have been so healthy that I know very little about meds since I never needed any -
