Foot neuropathy: What gives you relief?
It seems if I get enough activity/exercise daily I don’t have pain; if not, am awakened from sleep and must get up (even in the middle of the night). What’s going on & what more should I do to avoid rest-disruption?

@bigjohnscho I have found Nervive to be helpful for sleep. It is the ALA, alpha lipoic acid, in Nervive or other brands that has helped.
I hope this helps.
@momcatvw yes, I've seen those. I just don't like the I deal of having to get up several times a night to change them. I'm sure it works though. I'm still just strapping on a blue ice block (like for coolers) and that works, lasts all through the night. I just need a better way of strapping it on. But my problem area is on the top of my foot, not the. Bottoms. I appreciate the advice though.
@joanihm , yes I take r-lipoic acid and benfotiamine every day, 2x a day. None of the tropicals work for me to numb the spot that aggregates me. So far it's only ice that works to numb it..
@lifeisfun Glad to hear/I need to get back to doing that-
Pls recommend red light brand. I have 2 but know that pulsating ray is best-mine is very small.
One is from the UK (?) Have never seen dramatic quick results so can’t know how much/if out helps…
@ronludington
I’m not reading all this, but I believe compression socks will help you for sleeping-comfortable once U get them on…
Not being able to get to sleep and staying asleep is a terrible thing. The thing that has allowed mt get to sleep and often sleep through the night is gummies with CBD/THC. I know cannabis is not legal in many states. but many states offer medical marijuana for things like chronic pain. I tried a less potent gummy for daytime use but it leaves me in a state of altered reality. LOL.
@doblack50 been there, done that.. not even close to helping. But thanks for the suggestion.
@heisenberg34 don't think there legal in sc.
@doblack50 Anodyne pro 300. It has two pads. I’ve converted it to a sandwich method to use on my foot/toes. It is a long process. I am using both tens and red light therapies so not sure which one benefits more, but I am seeing positive results.
