Venting
I woke up this morning and felt like I was in a car wreck. My body hurts, stiff, tinnitus, inflammation, swollen. I am tired of this and yet I know that I have to keep going. If I allow my thoughts to go into the future, I find it bleak. I am trying to keep myself in the moment. I do start feeling better, with the help of medications but it is hard knowing that there are no answers. I just needed to vent.

Wishing you great healing! I only take 3.0 mg of the LDN right now and truly have found that an appropriate filler must be used as some truly do interfere with the effectiveness of the LDN.
Like you, I too have IBS, GI stuff and the lactose filler bothered me a little, so after trying other fillers at other pharmacies and none of them were working; I could tell the LDN w/lactose was, so I switched back to Medtown and the lactose filler, and just started using Lactaid products, milk, ice cream, etc., and I am good. I also have had brain fog, joint pain, inflammation, fatigue and all of those things have gone away; almost immediately, so might find out what filler they are using with your LDN because that truly makes a difference as to the effectiveness of the LDN.

3 ReactionsYes, that's the thing about the LDN; healing to the immune system.
I watched my bloodwork rebound back to normal on a couple of tests after taking for only 2 months, then testing, so I found that encourging, and just keep taking it.

Thanks, but I've tried low dose naltexone extensively and found it did not move the needle at all. Not everyone with Long Covid is helped by the same product.

Same here.

Hello,
Is there a Long COVID Zoom Group? If so, could I please get more information?
Thank you!
I was in one a year ago that met monthly. I will do some research and get back to you. I may start one as I am graduating in August in Social Work and also in recovery from addiction. If anyone is interested in joining a Zoom or Google call for a group to process and talk about this illness that I know has not only turned my life upside down, but millions of others, please let me know.

3 Reactions@lc123 I replied below and forgot to put your username. It is early...brain fog and anxiety hit me early in the mornings.
Sorry you're going through this...have you tried Prednisone?3 years ago my urgent care DR put me on a low dose prednisone for 9 days..capsules.About 2 days in I forgot I was sick.I mean that.EVERYTHING stopped hurting.Mind was clear.Truly felt okay.Lasted around 3 weeks.(after all were gone). It wasn't permanent..but it was a huge key I think in what was going on at that time.I had new hope.I knew I could get better, cause everything FELT better.Gave me a boost in everything .Maybe try that?I couldn't believe how I felt after being so sick 24/7.
God Bless Dear.

2 Reactions@h2998sc The first year, 2022, I did try prednisone. I became really agitated and felt like I was on cocaine. I am in recovery from addiction and very aware of any kind of mood alteration regarding medication. I do know that it helps, but it is not sustainable and emotionally does me more harm than good. I could try it again as it is 4 years later. I appreciate the reply. I am so glad it helped you. It may help others as well.
