Hello everyone and Thank you all for being here.
I was diagnosed with NSCLC, Stage 1b due to size.
Surgeon removed tumor along with RML.
Lymph nodes all benign, I am so grateful.
I will learn soon of treatment.
I’m hanging in there despite the expected pain,
Some difficulties with sleep as I see is common.
I’m walking, walking and walking some more, that really helps !
I don’t have any questions as of yet, hoping to help others if I can.
🙂

Thank you so very much for your advice! I will ask my Oncologist the pros and cons for the continuing of the immunotherapy for one more year. I will post an update on my decision!

hi @paupau52 - congratulations on your very good surgical results! as far as whether or not to continue the immunotherapy, I would ask your oncologist to give you the pros and cons for continuing and not continuing. that should help make your decision easier. usually they recommend continuing a systemic therapy when they're concerned there might still be some rogue cancer cells after surgery. let us know how it goes!

Our daughter is a Physician assistant at Mayo. She is insisting me to do one more year of immunotherapy to make sure the tumor won’t come back. I’m going to do one more year of the immunotherapy treatment. Thanks!
