My Vestibular Migraine and PPPD may well be a result of long Covid.

I’ve been dealing with brain food, dizziness, occasional vertigo, falls (and injuries requiring surgery) for nearly 5 years now. I have a Vestibular Occupational Therapist who has helped, but until the neuro-inflammation is addressed, at best I try to manage triggers daily. I also have painful migraines and occipital neuralgia pain daily, EVERY day!

Over recent years I finally have a strong team of doctors, but just recently had a consult with a large Post Acute Covid Clinic and learned more in several hours than previous five years! Medicine needs better transparency and access to Long-Covid care. I’m hoping the new meds really help me.

where is the post acute covid clinic. i have 4 episodes of dizziness, passing out and injuries since october. i am typing with one finger today because yesterday, i tripped and broke my wrist along with a lot of pains but no other breaks on the left side of my body. these falls are getting scary and nothing i do seems to stop the brain inflammation and dizziness.

@bmekdeci Have you tried using a Nicotine Patch? I’m wearing a 7 mg patch now for about 8 weeks and immediately noticed my balance was much better. It helps me with balance and brain fog and I think it’s giving me a little bit more energy throughout the day. It can’t hurt you, your lungs or anything. It’s just straight Nicotine. It doesn’t hurt to try.
